tis the season

Last night was the 13th annual 700 Club Awards, a party to celebrate the bar's anniversary, the colorful cast of local barflies and the unofficial start of the the holiday party season. The night was filled with libations, laughs and lots of fine looking folks. It was a smashing good time!

It's been two whole months since we closed the shop. Hard to believe that time has flown by. Honestly, I don't have much to show for it. For the first time in four years I have hit the pause button. I am finding joy in being lazy, relaxing, and feathering my nest. Being at home has been novel these past 8 weeks. I am relearning the joys of sleeping in, watching movies, reading, tumbling, cooking, entertaining, catching up with friends and sipping on freshly percolated coffee while listening to music. It is my inspiration for this post.
