Popped Festival!

This past Saturday was the first annual 2nd Street Festival in Northern Liberties in conjunction with the Popped! Festival. Grasshopper set up their wares along with Feather & Rae and Magick Outlaw inside the gypsy tent. Though we stood through a little rain and a downpour or two-the day turned out to be a success and a whole lot of fun. The bands sounded great, the pop-up beer gardens were swinging, the food vendors were busy, and I think they got the skate ramp up and running finally. Looking forward to doing it again next year!

moving on

I feel like I have been pretty neglectful and preoccupied when it comes to the blog lately. I know one of the reasons for this has been the fact that within the next two weeks I am moving. It's a big move for me even though I am about to take residence in the smallest apartment I have ever lived in-a 1 room studio. I am looking forward to simplifying & downsizing-I welcome that kind of change with wide open arms! Setting up the studio will be a fun challenge. This is my Holly Golightly moment. I have been scouring blogs and sites for ideas & inspiration for small spaces and the following are some amazing rooms that I have found. I am also bursting about the idea that I will have my own private balcony to laze away the day on! I will post pictures once I get everything in order so you can see my new spot!
