Yesterday Miss Tracy & I crossed the old Delaware in search of vintage goods and a decent lunch. Our mission lead us to the New Jersey superstore Village Thrift conveniently located across the road from the infamous Pub restaurant. Sadly the store was crammed with mostly finds from the 90's up to more recently and the prices weren't exactly dirt cheap. But Monday appeared to be deal day and not only were most of the goods we purchased half off, but lunch was too! Turns out, Mondays at the Pub you can dine for 1/2 the price when you sit at the bar. So that we did and in the end we had ourselves a cheap and successful shopping day.

As this recession drags on it seems to effect everyone and everything. I have noticed this even on ebay. A lot of sellers have stopped posting auctions, cut back, or resorted to "buy it now" making it a buyers market. The only problem with that is not having the cash to buy with. For now I just look and lust after these autumn nuggets of vintage goodness all currently available for purchase or bidding.

Spring in our step!

Here we are, excited & weary after five fun filled days in Las Vegas, at the airport finally able to get online! We had a great time shopping at the shows and found so many great new things for the store. Some for immediate deliveries for Fall '08 and most for Spring '09. There were themes of wild prints, lots of feathers, neon graphics, unicorns, & so much more. Some new items that we found: tees from Show Pony's Kime Buzzelli, amazing new earrings from Rise Up, slinky knits from Born Uniqorn, fanny packs from Philadelphia's own Magick Outlaw, vintage sunglasses from Balenciaga, the sweetest separates from Dear Creatures, and an unbelievable one piece & bikini swimsuit from Manoush printed with mystical unicorn airbrush stylings! And that is just the beginning. Here is the preview you have been waiting for!!!!!
