Recently I remembered a fashion editorial that appeared in Sassy Magazine in October 1991. It featured the new it girl of the moment Milla Jovovich in a spread that I thought was so cool that it has stayed with me after all these years. I was so happy to find scans of it online after a little searching! She looks stunning in these images and 17 years later I think this whole spread could be mistaken for something in a magazine today-the look is still relevant. Milla was discovered at the super tender age of 11 and thrown into the spotlight by photographer Richard Avedon and his work for Revlon. It caused quite a stir that a pre-teen was selling cosmetics, yet somehow Milla kept her head on straight and continued to model for some of the biggest fashion houses of the early 90's right along side the supermodels of the day. This go-getter went on to star in over 20 films, release an album and start her own clothing line. Here are the Sassy tears along with some shots from her early career.
