The spectacle that is New York fashion week is upon us. Though I wish for chilly days & nights, a cozy scarf, a chunky sweater and boots-my heart skipped a beat when I came across the Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2009 collection! What a way to throw off my autumn desires! This collection has all my favorite elements: color, prints-lots of them piled on top of one another, flowers, feathers, studs, and flowy sheer things. Diane says that her Spring '09 collection is "an homage to Diana Vreeland who taught us we could be goddesses and rock stars". The look was carefree, innocent and sweet and confident.
